Watercolor-ology – Tips, Tricks, and Some Pointers for Painters
Saturday, April 26th at Lakewood Library 11am - 1pm
Join an informal paint-along forum with artist Jessie Boice and we’ll talk about some of the issues that we ALL sometimes struggle with in our watercolor painting. We’ll tackle a simple painting project and discuss different methods of how to get a painting done – including how to deal with “goofs” that occur, general pointers and trouble-shooting. Everyone is encouraged to share the obstacles they could use help with – and to share their own helpful ideas that we can use!
This workshop is for those who have worked with watercolor previously. All materials will be provided, though participants are asked to bring their own paints, brushes and paper they use at home. Often enough, the "goofs" may result from those specific materials. Jessie will be bringing additional supplies to experiment with and to get a feel for how changing the paper, paint, or brushes may create something unexpected.
There are limited seat available for this workshop. Please call us at 716-763-6234 or stop by the front desk to reserve your spot.
