Halloween Volunteers Needed

Halloween Volunteers Needed

Lakewood Library is hosting TWO events for Halloween this year and we need your help making it all go smoothly. There are a variety of volunteer roles available, something to suit everyone's interests. Take a look at the details below and let us know how we can work together to bring these events to life. The hours listed reflect set up and take down times, but that may not be applicable to every volunteer's position.

Trick or Treat at the Library – Halloween event for 3-12 year olds

Thursday, October 24 4:30-7pm
Craft table helpers
Story Time readers
Group guides

Baby’s Boo Bash - Halloween for 0-2 year olds

Saturday, October 26th 10:45am-12:45pm
Craft table helpers
Treat table greeter

Please stop at the front desk, call us at 716-763-6234, or apply online to volunteer.

We're also seeking donations for these events. Halloween candy can be dropped off at any time, the earlier the better. If you would like to donate baby and toddler food items and snacks, please do! Pouches and easily dissolved crackers and cookies can be dropped off as well.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Lakewood Memorial Library. Volunteers serve an important role in helping us in our mission to help community members of all ages improve their quality of life by providing access to materials and services that meet their personal, educational, and professional needs.
